What this website keeps, and why.

Browsing the site

This website runs no analytics and shows no advertising. It sets no cookies of its own, except one strictly necessary cookie if you use the chat assistant (below). The assistant keeps your conversation in your browser’s session storage for this tab only. Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs (address, page, time, browser) for security and to keep the site running.

When you book a walkthrough

The form sends what you type (name, role, hotel or group, number of properties and rooms, country, work email, phone if given, and your note) to our server. We use it only to reply to your request and arrange the call.

• Your request is emailed to our team and kept in our system’s audit log so it is not lost.
• Your connection’s address is counted for an hour to stop the form being abused. It is not kept with your request.
• A security check by Cloudflare Turnstile confirms the form is sent by a person. Cloudflare processes technical data about your browser for that check.

We keep requests for as long as we are talking with you and for up to two years after, then delete them, unless you become a customer and a contract needs them for longer.

When you use Ask Aurelle

The chat assistant on this site is an AI. What you type in it, with the page you are on, is sent through our server to Google, whose Gemini model writes the answer.

• Google processes your messages to answer them, under its paid Gemini API terms, which do not let it use them to improve its products.
• Before your first message, Cloudflare Turnstile checks that you are a person (Cloudflare processes technical data about your browser for that check). Our server then sets one cookie, holding only a random, signed session number, so the check isn’t repeated; it is used for nothing else and expires after two hours.
• Our server does not store your messages. Its logs record only that a reply was sent, how long it took and its size, never what you wrote; your connection’s address is counted in memory for ten minutes to stop the chat being abused.
• The conversation stays in your browser for this tab only and is gone when you close it. “Start over” clears it at once.
• If you ask the assistant to set up a call, it fills in the Book a walkthrough form for you. Nothing is sent until you check the form and send it yourself.

Please don’t share guests’ personal details or passwords in the chat.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete what we hold about you, or object to its use, at any time. Under Türkiye’s data protection law (KVKK) and the EU GDPR you can also complain to your data protection authority.
